Project Development: TecnoFormal Iteration
We are continuing in this third iteration the process of shaping the project. After the Spatial organizing principle (the absolute band), the Structural order, and the Occupancy and distribution iteration we are now in this final iteration in Formal and Technological issues.
The method of working is the same of the other iterations. You must a underlay (in this case is an elevation) with the basic dimensions and the on top of which you draw free hand different hypothesis and exploration.
You must work exclusively on "one" elevation of your building in order to develop the basic formal/technological principle you want to have and you are required to produce 3 alternatives elevations "forcing" and exaggerating the basic TecnoFormal principle of your choice.
You must produce at the end
- at least 3 proposals of your elevation following different basic principles as illustrating in the lecture (1/16 or 1/8 scale)
One section at a larger scale (1/4 at least) that shows
the basic constructive method you are thinking for it.
