Definition of a virtual human model through surfaces meshing; It's named "melodramatic prototype" and it's something like a virtual twin.
Definition of a specific kinematic for the model (strength, elasticity, skills that will be required to simulate dancing movements). The “melodramatic prototype” is a simple human mesh, which can be animated in a specific software application. He will have a fundamental role in the creation process of architectural space.
We consider human body as a media, and dance as “cultural memory” of body passage in space. In this way we can assign to every body part, a specific role. As ex-dancer I consider only the most significant part in order to set a a collection of “remarkable points” along the prototype surface; These are the points:
1) eyes motion- (movement-look) - every motion body is guided by look: in dancing motions, eyes try to reach a space target. During the time in which dance sequence is executed, eyes get to target before the whole body. Dancer look is like a pointer;
2) hands motion - during the dancing hands carry (port de bras) motion arms and trunk. They open and close the dance sequence;
3) pelvis motion - we can look at this as centre of gravity of human body. It’s the point in which we image concentrated the whole human shape, while it is moving;
4) 4) legs and feet motion - feet and legs allow body transportation in space, along three directions. Ground elevation is possible by legs push (jeté)
